Applying a journal approval procedure involves attaching an approval procedure to a journal name, attaching a journal approval procedure to a journal, and approving journal lines. After you have defined an approval procedure, you can apply this procedure in journals. For information about how to define an approval procedure, see Create a journal approval procedure.

  1. Attach an approval procedure to a journal name.

    1. Click > > > .

    2. On the tab, in the field, select an approval procedure.

  2. Attach a journal approval procedure to a journal:

    1. Click > > > .

    2. Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

    3. In the drop-down list, select a journal name setup.

  3. Click the button to select an approval status.

Tip Tip

Journal lines can only be approved per journal.
