Reference tables are used as a calculation basis for the distribution or allocation of costs or quantities, typically when references are fixed for several periods. Examples of reference tables are square meters, headcount, equipment calculation, and so on.

In the field, enter a name for the reference table.

On the tab, select the for use in this reference table.

Click to open the form.

On the tab, there is a list of created reference tables. Click the reference table that you just created in the form.

On the tab, select the you want to enter the references for and enter the total .

Enter the for each dimension you want to allocate as mentioned later in this topic.

Check that there is zero in the field.
Example
The most common example of a reference table is the cost center building. Here the costs are allocated by square meters.

If the total costs on the cost center building are $1000, the period calculation will allocate $250 to the cost center stock, $250 to the production 1, and so on.
