Time windows are used in connection with automatic creation of service orders to optimize the scheduling of service order lines, so that within the criteria of the different time windows as many service order lines are connected to as few service orders as possible.
Time windows define how far a service order line can move in relation to its calculated date. The calculated date is the date on which the service order line was scheduled to happen in accordance with its interval setting and the service period you defined in . You define a time window using the following values:
