After you qualify a lead, you can create an opportunity or customer record for the lead.

Create an opportunity record from a qualified lead record

  1. Click > .

  2. Select the lead for which you want to create an opportunity record.

  3. Click , and then click .

  4. In the form, select the reason for qualification and then click OK.

    If you chose to automatically create an opportunity from a qualified lead in the form, the form will open. If you did not select this option, you can manually create the opportunity record later.

  5. In the form, enter any additional information in the opportunity record.

Create a customer record from a qualified lead record

  1. Click > .

  2. Select the lead for whom you want to create a customer record.

  3. Click , and then click .

  4. Select the reason for qualification in the form and click OK.

    If you have selected to automatically create a customer from a qualified lead in the form, the form will open. If you have not selected this option, you can manually create the customer record at a later date.

  5. In the form, enter the customer name and group.
