Click > Common Forms> to open the form.

Click the button to display a list of all sales orders, and then select the sales order for which you want to create a service order.

In the upper pane, click > to open the sales order wizard.

Click , and then perform the following steps on the page:

Use the field to select the service agreement with which the new service order should be associated.

(Optional) Use the list to associate this service order with a particular project.

Click , and then perform the following steps on the page:

Enter a time for the service call to begin in the field.

(Optional) Modify the text in the field, which by default is the description of the service agreement that you selected on the previous page.

In the area, select the ID of the employee who is responsible for the agreement and, if you know what it is, the ID of the customer's preferred technician for the service call.

Use the list to identify the person in the customer's company who should be contacted concerning this service order.
