In the module there are three different types of budget models:

- Used for basic budgeting such as budgeting of costs and services.

- Instead of creating a special budget in cost accounting, you can use the .

- Used for complex flexible budgets with planning on costs and services. You can also calculate different cost rates.

Cost Accounting Budget
Use the model type for standard budgeting of costs and services.

Ledger Budget
Use the model type to use a budget from . It is useful because you do not have to create a new budget in the module.
When you use the model type, you must select a specific budget from the in the field on the tab.
Flexible Budget
Use the flexible budget model type for advanced budgeting such as flexible planning of costs and services or planning of calculations.
