When managing your sales opportunities, it is helpful to research your competitors and be familiar with their offerings. You can define competitors in Microsoft Dynamics AX as well as store contact and Strength, Weakness, Opportunities, and Threat (SWOT) analysis information, associate documents to competitors, record competitor's prices and products, and view your opportunities that are vying with a competitor.

Set up a competitor record

  1. Click > > > .

  2. In the upper pane of the form, click CTRL+N to create a new line.

  3. Enter or select a competitor name from the list and enter a brief description of the competitor.

  4. In the lower pane, enter as much information as possible about the competitor in each of the fields under the tabs.
