Based on this example profile:

  • The minus in the box indicates, that the profile starts before midnight. If this is the profile for Monday, clock-in is expected at 22:00 on Sunday evening.

  • Clock-in after 20:00 ( ) means that the profile for the following day will be used.

  • Clock-in between 22:45 and 23:00 will not result in overtime payment because of the tolerance ( ).

  • Clock-in between 23:00 and 23:02 will not result in a reduction in pay because of the tolerance ( ).

  • Clock-out between 07:00 and 07:15 will not result in overtime payment because of the tolerance ( ).

  • If the break between 03:00 and 03:30 is cancelled, this time is considered overtime.

Note Note

Remember to set the box at 20:00 on Sunday.

Flex profile with no fixed clock-in time

If some employees have no fixed clock-in time, you can set up a profile like this one. In this example, employees are expected to work 7.5 hours a day. But they can decide themselves when they will work those hours.

They will generate flexible hours, for a maximum of 2 per day, when they work over 7.5 hours. Time beyond that will be converted into overtime.

23:00

23:00

22:00

Based on this example profile:

  • If an employee works between 7.5 and 9.5 hours, that employee will receive 7.5 hours of standard time and the remainder as flex+ time.

  • If an employee works more than 9.5 hours, that employee will receive 7.5 hours of standard time, 2 hours of flex+ time, and the remainder as overtime.

  • Breaks are registered by the employee.

  • The reason for having a second line with from 23:00 to 22:00 (the next day) is to be able to work through the night on the same profile date.

  • If the employee works less than 7.5 hours absence has to be registered. But this can be done automatically.

Auto insert flex- / absence

On a flex profile with no fixed clock-in time you can insert an absence code automatically:

  1. Click > > .

  2. In the parameter list, select an absence code.

Note Note

The selected absence code will be inserted during calculation.
