Quick links Web parts display links that are relevant for users in your role. The links provide access to forms, reports, list pages, and Web pages that you frequently use. You can add quick links Web parts, select which links to display, and add, modify, or delete the links.

Add a quick links Web part

Click the Add a Web Partlink where you want to add the quick links Web part.

In the Add Web Partsdialog box, select Quick Links Web Partin the All Web Parts> Miscellaneouslist. Click Add.
See the next procedure for information about adding links to the Web part.
Add a link

In the quick links Web part, click Add Links.

Specify the link destination:

To create a link to a form, report, or list page, select Desktop Link, and then select the form, report, or list page from the list.

To create a link to an Enterprise Portal page, select Enterprise Portal link, select the page from the list, and select the Display Enterprise Portal links in the clientcheck box.
Note Links to Enterprise Portal pages are relative, meaning that they will open the page on the first Enterprise Portal site that is set up for the current company. To link to the page on a specific Enterprise Portal site, select URL, and then enter the URL for that page. By default, Enterprise Portal links are hidden on Role Centers in the client. You must select the Display Enterprise Portal links in the clientcheck box to make these links visible.

To create a link to a Web site or page, select URL, and then enter the URL.

Enter the title of the link as it will be displayed in the Web part.

Click OK.
Modify or delete a link, or change the order of the links

In the quick links Web part, click Manage Links.

Complete one of the following tasks:

To change the order of the links, select a number from the list to specify the numeric order.

To modify a link, click the Edit Linkicon. Modify the link information in the Quick Links - Edit Linkform, and click OK.

To delete a link, click the Delete Linkicon and confirm the deletion.

Click OK.
