To use quotation templates, you must have them organized in specific . These template groups must be created before you can create quotation templates.
Create a quotation template group

Click > > > to open the form.

Press CTRL+N to create a new quotation template group.

Enter a unique name in the field.

Enter a description of the template group in the field.
Create a project quotation template

Click > .

Press CTRL+N to add a new line.

In the form, select a .

Because this template is sent out to several business accounts based on different criteria than the criteria in this form, it is not important which business account you select. |

Click OKto submit the quotation template.

On the tab on the quotation header, select .

In the field, type the name of the template you are creating. If you will use the template immediately, select the check box.

On the , press CTRL+N to create an item line for the quotation template.

Select or type transaction type, quantity, unit, or unit price. You might want to list a different unit price for this template.

Repeat this process for each item line that is required for the quotation template.

You have to fill in the field group before you add lines to the template. You are unable to change a quotation to a template after you have added lines to it. |
Modify a sales quotation template
You can modify an existing quotation template after it has been created by editing the information on the selected quotation template lines.
Delete templates

Click > to open the form.

Select the template that you want to delete (you can filter on templates in the field).

Press ALT+F9 to delete the record.

You cannot mass delete quotation templates. If you try to select templates when you mass delete quotations, the templates will not be transferred to the form. |
