Click > Common Forms> to open the form.

Click the button to display a list of all sales orders, and then select the sales order for which you want to create a service agreement.

In the upper pane, click > to open the service agreement wizard.

Click to open the page.

In the area, if you do not want to modify an existing service agreement as the basis for this new service agreement, select in the field and continue with step 6.

If you want modify an existing service agreement as the basis for this new service agreement, select in the field, select the source agreement in the field, and then choose whether to copy agreement lines and include tasks that are associated with the source agreement.

In the field, do one of the following:

Select , select the ID of the existing project in the list that you want to use, and then continue with step 10.

Select , and then continue with step 7.

Select , select the ID of the project in the list from which you want to copy values for the new project, and then continue with step 7.

If you selected or , you can click to copy a project structure from an existing structure that is marked as a template project.

In the area, do one of the following:

Select in the list, and then choose the existing contract that you want to use in the list.

Select in the list, and then type a name for the new contract in the field.

Select in the list.

Click to open the page, and choose preferences for the project in the following fields:

- Select from the available project types that are already in your company's setup.
-
- Enter a project number to identify this project in the application.
-
- Assign this project to an existing project group.
-
- Enter a name to identify this project in the application.
-
- Specify a format for subprojects. Use a character as a separator and the # symbol as a number indicator, such as -##.

- Select from the available line properties that are already defined in your company's setup.

Click to open the page and perform the following tasks:

In the field, if necessary, modify the description that is borrowed from the sales order to help identify this service agreement in the application.

In the area, specify a start and end date for the service agreement.

(Optional) In the area, select the ID of the employee who is responsible for the agreement and the ID of the customer's preferred technician for the service call, if known.

Use the list to identify the person in the customer's company who should be contacted concerning this service order.

In the field, assign this service agreement to an existing service agreement group.

In the area, select a method for grouping service order lines into service orders, such as by service agreement or by employee.

In the field, select a service level agreement to associate with the new service agreement.

Click , and then click to complete the service agreement wizard.
