Click Human Resources> Setup> Employee> Skills> Rating models .

In the Skillsfield, enter a unique identifier for the model.

In the Descriptionfield, enter a description of the model.

Descriptions often indicate either the number of levels that the model contains, or the high and low levels in the model.

Click the Levelsbutton to create the scale.

In the Levelfield, enter a unique identifier for the level.

In the Descriptionfield, enter a description of the level.

This should indicate the rating, for example, "Satisfactory" or "Needs Improvement". The person providing a rating will use this to make his or her decision.

In the Factorfield, enter a factor that will normalize scores when comparing items that have different numbers of levels.

You can enter up to nine levels.

To enter additional detail about the level, click the Notetab, and then enter the text.
