Click Master planning> Journals> Safety stockto open the Safety stock form.

Click Create newto create a new journal and open the Item coverage journal linesform.

Click Journal linesand select Create linesto open the Create journal lines for proposed minimum inventory levelsform.

Set up the time period for which you want to investigate inventory transactions by selecting dates in the From dateand To datecalendars. To filter and select the items, click Select.

Click OKto create lines on the Overviewtab that show the current minimum inventory setting for the selected items.

Click Journal linesand select Calculate proposalto open the Calculate proposal for minimum inventory levelform.

Select the method to calculate the new minimum inventory levels and select whether to transfer the calculated Proposalto the New minimumfield.

Click OK.

You can also enter a new minimum inventory level manually.
