If multiple companies within your organization do business with the same customer and each company maintains a separate customer account for that customer, use this procedure to merge the global address book IDs for the customer accounts across multiple companies. This enables you to perform cross-company actions that are related to the customer, such as printing consolidated statements or receiving customer payments for invoices in any of the companies with which the customer does business.
