Before you set up and use electronic signature, you must load the following license keys. The relevant configuration keys are selected automatically.

Create a number sequence that can be used for electronic signatures using the form ( > > > ).
There are no special requirements for this number sequence.

Verify that a number sequence has been assigned to the electronic signature on the tab in the form ( > > ).
For more information, see Company information (form).

Activate electronic signature for a process in the form ( > > . Be sure that the field has been selected for the process to be signed electronically.

In the form, activate an audit trail for the processes that were activated for electronic signature in the previous step.
Click > > and add the tables that had electronic signature turned on in the previous step.

Tip Use the database log to verify that audit trail has been successfully activated: Click > > to open the database log setup. The check box should be selected for the four types of changes (Insert, Delete, Update, RenameKey).

Give a user group permission to sign electronically in the form.
Click > > and on the tab, add a relevant user group.
