Use this form to assign variable compensation awards. The variable awards are in addition to an employee's fixed compensation.

You can also see a history of all awards granted to the selected employee, including plans created through the process event.

Variable compensation awards can also be calculated automatically by the system during a process event. You use the form to enroll employees in a variable award plan that is calculated automatically.

Select the variable compensation plan that applies to the award.

Enter the number of units, such as stock options to be awarded. For cash awards, this value is the value of the total award.

Enter the value of one unit. For cash awards this value is always 1.

Enter the currency that the unit value is expressed in.

Select a pay group to use for sending compensation data to payroll.

The date of the award.

The award type that is defined for the selected variable compensation plan.

The vesting rule selected for the variable compensation plan. The vesting rules document the portion and timing of when a long-term award (such as a stock option) becomes available to the employee.

Select the fixed compensation plan that is used as a basis for the calculation of the award.
