Fields

Field

Description

Number of the interest note.

First day on which interest is calculated for the selected interest note.

Account number of the customer who is being charged interest. Interest is charged to the invoice account that is assigned to the customer.

Name of the customer who is responsible for the invoice account and to whom the interest note is sent. The name is retrieved automatically from the invoice account and cannot be changed on the interest note.

Current status of the interest note:

  • – The interest note is created by the periodic job.

  • – The interest note is posted.

  • – The interest note is canceled.

If selected, the interest note is printed.

Last day on which interest is calculated for the selected interest note.

Language of the customer.

Select to block the customer account from further invoicing when you post the interest note. To unblock the account, select in the field on the form.

Posting profile that applies to this transaction. Use the form to define posting profiles for customer transactions.

Currency of the interest note.

Amount of the interest note fee. The fee is filled in automatically if a fee has been set up on the interest code that applies to the selected interest note; you can revise the fee before you post the interest note.

Use the form to set up interest codes and corresponding fees.

Voucher number of the posted interest note in the general ledger. When the interest note is posted, this field is updated automatically according to the number sequence that is selected for interest notes on the form.

Sales tax group of the customer account, which together with the item sales tax code determines the sales tax on the fee of the interest note. The sales tax group is filled in automatically (according to the customer account); you can change the sales tax group before you post the interest note.

Item sales tax group that applies to the fee of the selected interest note, as defined in the form for the interest code that applies to the interest note. You can change the item sales tax code before posting the interest note.

Code for the sales tax on the fee that is printed on the voucher.

Amount of sales tax on the fee of the interest note.

Date on which the interest note was updated in the customer ledger, the general ledger, and in the form.

Date on which the selected interest note is canceled.

Street name and street number of the address to which the interest note is sent. The address information comes from the data on the invoice account that is attached to the customer account. You can change the information before you post the interest note.

Postal code of the address to which the interest note is sent.

City of the postal code in the address to which the interest note is sent.

County of the address to which the interest note is sent, if required.

State of the address to which the interest note is sent.

Country/region of the address to which the interest note is sent.

Address as it will appear on the interest note. It is formatted according to the rules set up for the country/region of the address.

Before you post the interest note, you can change information in the other address fields, and the information in this field will change accordingly.

Ledger voucher number of the original customer transaction on which interest has been calculated.

Date of the original customer transaction.

Invoice number of the original customer transaction on which interest has been calculated.

Due date of the original transaction.

Currency code of the invoice transaction. The interest is calculated in the same currency as the original transaction.

Displays the figures used for calculating interest. The amount is converted to the currency of the interest note on the day of the exchange rate, regardless of the original currency of the transaction.

Invoice amount on which the interest is calculated.

Amount of interest that is calculated on the invoice amount.

Select whether interest should be calculated on the specific transaction.

Date that the original transaction begins to accrue interest.

Number of days of accrued interest for the current transaction. The number of days is determined by the dates in the and fields.

Total amount of interest that is charged to the customer account in the selected interest note, including taxes.

Text that will appear on the interest note for the selected transaction. This text is entered automatically during the interest calculation and includes the invoice number.

A few lines of text that are printed on the interest note.

Department dimension that is attached to the transaction.

Cost center dimension that is attached to the transaction.

Purpose dimension that is attached to the transaction.
