Human Resources> Setup> Actions> Response types

Use this form to define the kinds of responses, reactions, or outcomes that arise due to the completion of an action ( Action types).

You may find it useful to specify response types so that you can:

• View the response history and the current response status for actions by clicking the Dependenciesbutton in the Actions form.

• Automatically create a chain of actions based on an outcome. The response type can determine the next action taken when a response is specified for an action. For example, you could create two response types called Approvedand Rejectedfor an action type called Review.

Note
You cannot delete items from the Response typesfield after they are assigned to action types in the Action typesfield.
