Use this form to create, manage, and view the service budget transactions for each dimension and cost category.

The budget values are displayed for each service category and display the amount for each period and total amount for one line. If you have selected the check box, the individual amount for each period is displayed.

Description

View the default budget model for the budget line or create a new line by selecting another budget model.

View the default dimension type for the budget line or create a new line by selecting another dimension type.

Select a dimension value for the selected dimension type.

Select the check box to display the individual amount for each period as it is reported.

If the check box is selected, the line is exploded, which means that has been selected for a budget line where or has been selected in the field.

Select or view the service category.

Enter or view the date from which the budget amount will be in effect. You can use this field to limit an individual budget line in terms of time.

Display a comment for the budget transaction. The default name is the, the name of the ledger account.

Enter or view the budget quantity.

View the total quantity for the selected budget line.

Select or view if the quantity is planned as a credit or debit position.

Select if the quantity should be included in the current budget. By default, this field is active when a budget line is created.

Displays the following methods for allocating the budget transaction:

  • – No allocation occurs,

  • – Enter the number of units in the field in relation to the field. This method is used if you budget with the same quantity per period.

  • – The budget is allocated according to the period allocation key specified in the field. For example, this method can be used to take seasonal variations into account.

Enter or view the number of units in the interval ( , , or ) per transaction. For example, 1 and for budgets allocated per month, or 3 and for budgets allocated per quarter.

Unit for time interval:

  • – Number of days specified in the field.

  • – Number of months specified in the field.

  • – Number of years specified in field.

Enter or view the last date of the posting period for this periodic transaction.

Select or view the period allocation key for allocating the budget.
