Use this form to create new actions and respond to actions from
the dialog box.
Dependencies are a chain of actions that are linked together. A
particular action response type can automatically result in the
creation of a new action that depends on the preceding action. For
example, you might decide that the response type Call for an action
of the type Offer should automatically create a new action of the
type Phone call. Here, the action Phone call is the next link and
depends on the action Offer.

Automatically assigned number based on the number sequence ID,
which is defined on the

Enter a description of the action.
Shows the action type.
Select a reference type for the action. The reference type
represents the table in which the actions are to be executed, such
as the customer table or employee table.
The action's reference is the item or transaction in which the
action is executed. You will find the transaction in the dialog box
attached to the action's reference type.
If you do not select a reference, the action will refer to the
entire dialog box.
The employee who is responsible for the action.
The date and time on which the action starts. When the action is
created, this box automatically displays the current date, but can
be edited.
Select a response type for the action. Use the response type to
record the outcome of the action. You can choose only from the
responses that have been selected for the action type.
Tip
You should not select the response type when the action is
created, but when the action has been executed and can be ended, or
when it is postponed or canceled.
Note
You can record responses only for actions whose status is
planned. When you record a response, the action is ended
automatically.
The automatically assigned status of the action.
If you are creating subactions, select the primary action from
this list. You can attach as many subactions as you want to this
primary action.
You must select the primary action before you create subactions.
When subactions are created, the box is no longer available.
To view a list of subactions related to a primary action, click
the
button in
the Actions dialog box.
Select a reference type for the action. The reference type
represents the table in which the actions are to be executed, such
as the customer table or employee table.
The action's reference is the item or transaction in which the
action is executed. You will find the transaction in the dialog box
attached to the action's reference type.
If you do not select a reference, the action will refer to the
entire dialog box.
The action plan, if any, that the action belongs to. This field
is completed automatically if the action is started by an action
plan. Actions created manually do not have action plan IDs.
Priority is determined automatically on the basis of the default
priority from the action types. You can always change the
priority.
The date and time by which the action must be completed. When
the action is created, this box automatically displays the current
date, but it can be edited.
The time at which the action ends. This is completed
automatically when you end actions via the label update button in
periodic action plans.
Additional information on the action. You can add notes to
actions whose status is scheduled or started.
Detailed note from the response type indicated as a response for
the action. When you specify a response for actions whose status is
planned, then the response boxes are locked.
