Use the buttons to set up additional criteria for the report or function and to start or cancel a job. Not all buttons are available for every report or function.

Most reports and functions that have a tab also have a tab. For information about how to run the report or function as a batch job, see Prepare batch processing on the Batch tab.

Open a query in which you limit and sort the data to include in the report or function.

If you do not limit the data, Microsoft Dynamics AX includes all available data as defined by the default settings.


You can sometimes view the query selections (including defaults) in the fields on the tab. However, you cannot enter values directly in these fields.

Restore the default settings of the query.

Open the form, in which you can select the delivery method for the report. The standard methods are:

Start the function or print the report according to your specifications.

Cancel

Delete the entries that you made in the query, and close the report or function.
