Use this form to set up the parameters if a new item number must be generated for the configured item. Also, you can set up the product model to generate new configuration identification numbers, size identification numbers or color identification numbers.

Note Note

To avoid generating the same item number for two different item configurations, the formatted item number is always extended with a number drawn from the number sequence that has been set up in the field on the tab on the form.

Example

If the variable you want to refer to is number two in the relevant list of variables—and if you want the identifier to consist of the letters ABCfollowed by the content of this variable—you should write ABC%2 in your format specification.
