Example Your order numbers are entered manually using the following format: YYYY-MM-DD-##### where # is a running order number. YYYY (the four-digit year) is the first part of the order number, MM (2-digit abbreviation for the month) is the second part, and so on. You can now sort your report according to order numbers and print a subheading each time the first part (YYYY) of the order number changes, so that you print all orders grouped by year. You can also print a subheading each time the first two parts (YYYY-MM) of the order number change, so that you print all orders grouped by year and month. |
