View, edit, or create inventory aisles.

General tab

View information about the aisle selected on the Overviewtab.

Warehouse

The identity of the warehouse that contains the aisle. This information is combined with the name of the aisle to identify the aisle.

Aisle

The name of the inventory aisle. This information is combined with the identity of the warehouse to identify the aisle.

Aisle number

A numeric field used for sorting inventory aisles when the sorting codes for the locations are updated.

Name

A longer description of the inventory aisle.

Sort code

The starting value for the sorting codes for the locations in the aisle.

To edit this field, you must select the Manual updatefield in the Locations form.

For this to take effect at the locations, you must run the Sort codesperiodic job for those locations ( Inventory management> Periodic> Locations).

Descending

Select this check box to sort the locations in the aisle in descending order by shelf number in connection with picking routes.

For this to take effect at the locations, you must run the Sort codesperiodic job for those locations ( Inventory management> Periodic> Locations).

Locations

View location information about the selected inventory aisle.

Open the following submenu item:

• Copy aisle- Open the Copy aisleform to copy inventory aisle information from one warehouse to another.
