Use this form to manage picking routes.

The form is used for consolidated guided picking where the route is sorted by location, for example, the nearest is prioritized first and then the rest according to proximity.

Description

Start and lock the picking route.

Create a new picking pallet. When you create a picking pallet for a picking route, Microsoft Dynamics AX remembers the picking pallet's attachment if you leave the screen and come back later to the same picking route.

Cancel all lines in the picking route. If one or more lines have already been picked and the for the lines is or an even later status, it is not possible to cancel the route.

Manually deliver picked items and specify where you want picked items to be delivered after picking. The status of each line changes according to the setup stage that you have defined in the Outbound rules (form). The program automatically removes any lines that have been delivered and highlights the next items to be delivered.

NoteIf you have set up the outbound rules to deliver picked items, the Deliver picked items form appears, where you can confirm the delivery

Description

Approve picking lines.

Request refilling at the location where the line is to be picked.

Make an online count at the location. The button is only visible if you have entered a default name for the counting journal in the form.

Opens a menu with the following item:

  • - Select which inventory dimensions should appear in the actual form.

Read multiple tags at one time. If the tags do not match the picking lines, the form opens. Otherwise, the picking lines are reported as finished.

Select the picking route that you want to run.

Specify the pallet where the items are placed.

Enter your employee number.

Enter the warehouse where you work. Use this field to filter out picking routes from other warehouses.

Select if pallet tagging is mandatory.

Displays the tag status.

Item number where you want the transaction carried out.

Enter the warehouse in which you will store your items.

Location inside a warehouse.

Select an item configuration to specify an item with specific attributes.

Displays the size of the item.

Displays the color of the item.

Displays the batch number dimension.

Unique identification (ID) for the pallet (Serial Shipping Container Code).

Serial number dimension.

Quantity that this transaction affects.

Identification of the picking route.

Identifies the picking area.

Warehouse where the items are to be picked.

The shipment that the picking route belongs to.

Identification of the customer that is to receive the items. This is only relevant and completed if the field for the shipment has the value Same customer.

Displays the delivery address and postal (zip) code.

Identifies, together with the field, the recipient of the items on the picking route. This is only relevant and completed if the field for the shipment has the value Sale.

Identifies, together with the field, the recipient of the items on the picking route. This is only relevant and completed if the field for the shipment has the value Sale.

Status for the picking route.

Status is based on the status of the individual lines and is equal to the lowest of the line states. For example, if one of the lines is in status while other lines are in status , the status will .

Displays the mode of handling.

The operator or picker who processed the picking route.

Priority of the picking route. Picking routes with a higher priority are presented first to the pickers.

This parameter is used in connection with the parameter and is automatically selected when is .

When the quantity for a specific item on one line increased, the quantity for the same item on another line within the same picking route is automatically decreased. This is intended for use when picking is registered on a hand-held device and the update is immediate.

Expected time that it will take to pick the items in the picking route. This data is calculated by Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Anticipated volume of the items to be picked on the picking route. This data is calculated by Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Date on which the picking route was released for consignment. This data is calculated by Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Date and time that the picking route was started. This data is calculated by Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Date and time on which the picking route was ended. This data is calculated by Microsoft Dynamics AX.
