When you enter an item number and a quantity in a sales-order line, the system looks for a price set up for the item in the specified price group. If no price is found, the system uses the price in the Itemstable. Alternatively, you can enter the price manually. The price group must have been set up in Price/discount groups (form).

If specified for the customer in the Customers (form), the price group is automatically transferred to the sales order.
