The value is taken from the value in the Reservationfield in the actual sales order, but it can be changed.

You can select from the following options:

• Manual- No reservation of inventory is made unless you make reservations manually in the Reservation (form).

• Automatic- The order quantity is reserved from the item's available, on-hand inventory. If you use this method, you can reserve items that you have in stock for sales orders that are to be delivered in the future. Before the order is delivered, you may have a new sales order to be delivered before the first. The system will tell you that there is not enough stock available for the new order.

• Explosion- Master planning decides when the items are reserved.
