Use this form to create or view budget transactions for fixed assets.

You also can create budget lines for any fixed asset in the fixed assets budget journal. You can create budget lines for a particular fixed asset in one of its value models. To do this, click Forecastingon the value model.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
Overview tab	Create or view fixed asset budget transactions.
General tab	View additional information about the budget transaction that is selected on the Overviewtab.
Dimension tab	Select or view the dimension values of the budget transaction that is selected on the Overviewtab.

Button	Description
Ledger budget	View the ledger budget transactions that are associated with the selected Budget model.
Transfer	Click to transfer fixed asset budgets with a Posted to fixed asset budgetsposting status to ledger budgets. When transferred, the posting status changes to Posted to ledger budgets.

Field	Description
Budget model	Identification of the budget model.
Fixed asset number	Identification of the fixed asset number.
Transaction type	Type of transaction.
Offset account	Account number for posting in General ledger.
Transaction date	Date of the budget transaction.
Amount currency	Amount in currency.
Currency	Currency code for the amount.
Comments	Text describing the budget transaction.
Posting status	Posting status for the budget. Either Posted to fixed asset budgetsor Posted to ledger budgets.
Value model	Identification of the value model.
Consumption units	Quantity of consumption units.
Offset account	Offset account number for posting in ledger.
Department	In the Dimensionfields, specify a Department, Cost center, and Purpose. See also Dimensions.
