Use this form to create reference point setups. A reference point setup includes a set of reference points that constitute ranges in a matrix, and each range can be associated with a pay rate.

A reference point setup is created for a specific fixed compensation plan type.

Tip
You set up pay rates for the individual reference points when you create the compensation plans and the reference point names that you enter here are applied as range titles, such as Minimum, Midpoint, or Maximum in the compensation matrix. On a fixed compensation plan, you can point out a reference point as a control point, such as Midpoint, which indicates the desired wage level for a job covered by the current plan.
