Use this form to create, update, or delete depreciation books. You can create an unlimited number of books. Each depreciation book must have an ID that is unique from all value model IDs and depreciation book IDs.
Depreciation is the allocation of the cost of an asset over a period of time for accounting and tax purposes. You can use depreciation books to calculate depreciation for a group of assets.

Select the depreciation profile to use as an extraordinary profile for the asset. You might use this to account for extra depreciation such as a natural disaster. |

How the depreciation amount should be rounded. 1.00 means to the nearest dollar, 10.00 means to the nearest 10 dollars, etc. |

The lowest net book value the asset depreciation book can go. |

Select this option to allow the net book value for an asset to be higher than the acquisition costs for the asset. |
