Use this form to get an overview of supply for an item on a sales order line. You typically use this form to investigate alternatives when the standard way of supplying an item does not meet requirements. You can see information about the various supply options on the tabs. Based on the calculated Receipt date at the customer, you can decide which supply options are worth investigating further.

You can also open this form from the item form, by clicking Inventory management> Items> Inquiries.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Upper pane

Tab	Description
Requirement	View details about the item.
Display	Select the modes of delivery options for the item.
Delivery address	View and edit the delivery address.

Lower pane

Tab	Description
On-hand	View the on-hand quantity for each selected dimension and when the quantity can be at the customer.
Orders	View the quantity on order for each selected dimension and when the quantity can be at the customer.
Vendors	View the possible vendors that can deliver the item to the customer.
Standard lead times	View when the item can be at the customer based on the standard lead times.
Alternative items	View the alternative item for the item and gain an overview of the on-hand quantity. To see the Supply overviewform for the alternative item, click Supply overview.
Quarantine and transport	View the quantities in quarantine and transport warehouses.

Buttons

Upper pane

Button	Description
Update	Refresh the supply information with your changes.
Alt. address	Select an alternative address for you customer.
Dimensions display	Select the dimensions in the Inventory dimensionsdialog that you want supply displayed for. If you do not select a dimension, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated.

Lower pane

Button	Description
Supply overview	View the supply overview for the alternative item.

Fields

Field	Description
Item number	The item ID.
Quantity	The quantity of the item in inventory.
Requested receipt date	The date that the customer requested the item to be received.
Mode of delivery	The delivery mode for the item.
Configuration	View the dimension for item configuration if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated for all values of this item dimension.
Size	View the dimension for item size if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated for all values of this item dimension.
Color	View the dimension for item color if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated for all values of this item dimension.
Site	View the dimension for item site if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension in the Inventory dimensionsdialog, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated.
Warehouse	View the dimension for item location if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension in the Inventory dimensionsdialog, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated.
Batch number	View the dimension for the batch if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension in the Inventory dimensionsdialog, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated.
Location	View the dimension for item location if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension in the Inventory dimensionsdialog, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated.
Pallet ID	View the dimension for pallet if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension in the Inventory dimensionsdialog, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated.
Serial number	View the dimension for serial number if you have selected this as a dimension. If you have not selected this dimension in the Inventory dimensionsdialog, it is not displayed and the quantity is aggregated.
Internal mode of delivery	Select either to display all modes of delivery from the supply warehouse to the requirement warehouse, or only to display the default mode of delivery.
Mode of delivery to the customer	Select either to display the requirement mode of delivery (the mode of delivery specified on the Requirementtab), the default mode of delivery, or all modes of delivery.
Transport relation required	Specify that you only want to display supply options where there is a transport relation between the warehouses or warehouse and the customer defined in the Transport (form).
Include planned orders	Specify that you want to display planned orders on the orders tab.
Alternative item number	View the alternative item number for the alternative item.
(Item alternative) Configuration	View the alternative item configuration for the alternative item.
(Item alternative) Size	View the alternative item size for the alternative item.
(Item alternative) Color	View the alternative item color for the alternative item.
