Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Filtering records

Filter

Description

Select either , or .

  • - View the cost and sales prices of the Itemtransactions.

  • - View what is posted to General ledger in the local currency.

    The Cost amountfield shows the consumed costs that are posted to Profit and lossand to WIPaccounts.

    The Sales amountfield shows the revenue amount that can be either accrued or invoiced revenue that is posted to Profit and lossaccounts.

  • - View the sales amount. This is the quantity of items multiplied by the sales price.

Different records are displayed according to the filter setting you select:

  • - View all records.

  • - View all transactions with the transaction status , and .

  • - View all non-invoiced transactions for projects of type with a chargeable line property and with a transaction status of either or .

  • - View all transactions that are posted to projects that are not of the type . For projects, transactions are only displayed if they have the transaction status and a non-chargeable line property.

Description

Overview tab

Displays an overview of fee transactions registered on the current project. Click the display controls to view the price, posting amount, or sales amount for the lines.

General tab

View detailed information on individual lines. Field groups for estimate and subscription appear if the current transactions are of the types or .

Dimension tab

View the dimensions that are set up on the current line.

View all financial updates for the current transaction of type .

View all transactions that have been posted to a project related account.

Open the following submenu items:

  • - If the line has an invoice status, then you can use this form to prepare the transaction for credit note creation. Select the check box to select a transaction for credit note creation. Later, when you create an invoice proposal for credit notes, a credit note proposal is created for this marked transaction.

  • - Select this option to adjust the current transaction line.

View the invoice proposal or invoice to which the transaction is attached. The project invoice proposal or invoice is only shown if an invoice proposal has been created or an invoice has been posted for the transaction.

View the periods for which accrue periods have been created for a subscription. You can also post the accrue periods from this form.

Shows the project date on the transaction, that is, the date that is entered on the transaction line of the type .

Shows the project identification of the project into which the transaction was entered.

Shows category of type or to which the line is attached.

Show employee number of the employee attached to the journal line.

Shows currency in which the project is invoiced.

Shows the amount invoiced to the customer.

Shows line property for the transaction.

This check box is selected if revenue from a transaction of type has been accrued.

Shows status of the transaction, for example, whether it has been created as an invoice proposal or credit note proposal, or if it has been invoiced.

Shows identification of transaction.

Shows journal voucher number from the journal's lines.

Shows transaction text written in the journal. Field is non-editable.

Shows whether the transaction was generated from a journal transaction, an estimate or a subscription.

Shows the amount of accrued revenue. There is only a value of more than zero in this field if the check box is selected, that is to say if revenue has been accrued.

Enter or select a sales tax group code generated in the form.

Enter or select an item sales tax group code generated in the form.

Specifies which WIP period the transaction is attached to.

Specifies version number for the control period.

Shows optional project WIP types.

Shows project control identification.

Shows the subscription identification that the transaction was created from.

Shows the subscription period type used when the subscription transaction was created. Click , and then click .

Shows start date for the subscription transaction as it was set up in .

Shows the end date for the subscription transaction as was set up in .

Shows the base price if the transaction was generated using the selection from the list when created, otherwise the field is zeroed.

Shows the Index for the subscription if the transaction was generated using the option from the list when created, otherwise the field is zeroed.

Specify the department attached to the transaction.

Specify a cost center attached to the transaction.

Specify the purpose of the transaction.
