Use this form to copy the selected definition group. This includes all tables, fields, and data queries. You can copy the definition group as the same type or another type of definition group.

Note Note

If you copy from a type to an type, you must remove the tables the type does not support.

Identifies the definition group. Uses letters or numbers up to 30 characters.

Select the type of definition group:

  • – Export or import Microsoft Dynamics AX tables as binary or comma delimited files. Select binary if the files will be re-imported into Microsoft Dynamics AX. Select comma delimited if the information is viewed in a spreadsheet or similar file.

  • – Import a file from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet.

  • – Import a custom defined table group.
