Prior to 2008, Latvian tax authorities issued preprinted sales invoice forms. When goods were sold, the sales invoices were printed in the invoice forms issued by the tax authorities. Now, however, all business transactions involving the sale of goods must use the state invoice forms.

Note Note

According to the Latvian legislation, preprinted sales invoice forms will not be used after the beginning of 2008.

Each state invoice form has a unique number printed on it and the numbers on the invoice forms are in a series.

The details of the number of state invoice forms received, used, canceled, and the number of unused forms must be provided in a unified way to the tax authorities on a regular basis.

You can enter the range of numbers of invoice forms received from the tax authorities and receive the information about the number of forms used and canceled. You also can print a report that shows the summary of the number of state invoice forms received from the tax authority, the number of forms used, and the number of forms canceled.
