Use this form to write off fixed asset journals. You can create a write off-transaction to specify the physical disposal of a fixed asset when its useful life has expired.

This button is enabled only when you confirm and close the write-off journal.

Writing off date

View or modify the journal date for the write-off transaction.

Note
The write-off date is equal to the depreciation start date plus the useful life of the asset.

Journal number

The fixed asset journal number for the write-off transaction.

Write-off condition

Select the condition for writing off fixed assets from the following options:

On lifetime– Based on the fixed asset lifetime.
On depreciation group– Based on the fixed asset depreciation group.

Name

Select the journal name for the write-off transaction.

This check box is selected if the fixed asset journal has been posted.
