Use this form to view and update journal lines when writing off fixed assets at the end of their lifetime.

Open the form

  1. Click Fixed assets> Periodic> Writing off on lifetime> Lines.

  2. In the Writing off lines creationform, click Select, and then specify the required options to create a query.

  3. Click OK.

The journal date for the write-off transactions.

Journal number

The journal number for the write-off transactions.

FA number

The fixed asset number.

Account name

The name of the fixed asset.

Status

The status of the fixed asset.

Value model

The identification of the fixed asset value model.

( Value model) Name

The name of the value model.

Depreciation group

The identification of the depreciation group.

Depreciation subgroup

The identification of the depreciation subgroup.

Date of depreciation beginning

The date when the asset will begin to depreciate.

Lifetime

The lifetime of the fixed asset.

Original cost

The cost to put the fixed asset into operation.

Note Note

This includes the revaluation cost of the fixed asset.


Net book value

The net book value of the fixed asset.

Posting profile

The posting profile for the write-off transaction.

Valid for

The level of grouping for which the posting profile is valid. The grouping level may be one of the following:

  • All– If posting profile is valid for all fixed assets.

  • Table– If the posting profile is valid for the single fixed asset.

  • Group– If the posting profile is valid for a depreciation group.

  • Accounting– If the posting profile is valid for a value model.

FA relation

The fixed asset number or the fixed asset group number.

Post value

The value to be posted for the selected journal line.
