You can post a sales order credit note facture transaction as a reverse transaction by selecting the Credit correctioncheck box in the Update factureform. As a result, the warehouse operation is marked as Stornoin the Transactionsform, and a debit transaction is created for the customer transaction. The reversed customer transaction can be posted as a correction transaction in the General ledger.

  1. Click Accounts receivable> Setup> Parametersto open the Accounts receivable parametersform.

  2. On the Updatestab, select the Credit note as correctioncheck box to post the customer credit note transaction as a reverse transaction.

    Note Note

    When you select this check box, the Credit correctioncheck box is selected by default in the Update factureform.


  3. Press CTRL+S or close the form.

  4. Click Accounts receivable> Common Forms> Sales Order Detailsto open the Sales orderform.

  5. Press CTRL+N to create a sales order, and enter the required information.

  6. Click Posting> Factureto open the Update factureform.

  7. In the Invoicefield, enter the invoice number.

  8. In the Facturefield, enter the facture number.

  9. Click OKto post the facture.

  10. In the Sales orderform, click Functions> Create credit noteto open the Create credit noteform.

  11. On the Invoicetab, select the Select Allcheck box to select the transactions for the credit note.

  12. Click OKto return to the Sales orderform.

  13. Click Posting> Facture.

    Note Note

    The Credit correctioncheck box is selected by default in the Update factureform, on the Othertab.


  14. Click OKto post the facture. You can view the purchase order transaction in the Transactionsform. The Stornocheck box will be selected on the Overviewtab.

  15. In the Sales orderform, click Inquiries> Factureto open the Facture journalform.

  16. Select the journal line to print.

  17. Click Printto print the facture.
