Create a posting profile.

Ledger accounts

Set up ledger accounts for posting various fixed asset transactions.

Options

Open a menu with the following options:

• Leaving (sale)– Set up accounts for posting disposal sales transactions for fixed assets.

• Leaving (dismantlement)– Set up accounts for posting dismantlement or scrapping of fixed assets.

• Partial take-down– Set up accounts for posting partial disposal of fixed assets.

• Lending– Set up accounts for posting fixed asset lease transactions.

• Return from lease– Set up accounts for posting of reversal of lease transactions.

• Writing-off– Set up accounts for posting fixed asset write–off transactions.

• Receipt– Set up accounts for posting fixed asset receipt transactions.

• Issue– Set up accounts for posting fixed asset issue transactions.

• Depreciation bonus– Set up accounts for posting a depreciation bonus for fixed assets.

Posting profile

Enter a code for the fixed asset posting profile.

Description

Enter the name of the fixed asset posting profile.

Select

Select the fixed asset transaction being processed from the following options:

• Depreciation

• Depreciation Revaluation

• Major repairs

• Putting into operation

• Cost revaluation

• Leaving (sale)

• Leaving (dismantlement)

• Partial take–down

• Currency cost revaluate

• Currency depreciation revaluate

• Others

Groupings

Select the grouping used for the fixed asset posting profile from the following options:

• Table– The posting profile is applicable for a single fixed asset.

• Group– The posting profile is applicable for a depreciation group.

• All– The posting profile is applicable for all fixed assets.

• Accounting– The posting profile is applicable for a value model.

Account/Group number

Select the value model, depreciation group, or fixed asset number that the posting profile will be used for.

Ledger account

Select the account number for posting in the ledger.

Offset account

Select the offset account number for the fixed asset transaction.
