In Poland, fixed asset depreciation methods differ from the standard depreciation methods. Additional rules and settings are used to meet specific fixed asset accounting requirements. According to Polish regulations, a yearly depreciation rate is used to calculate depreciation, instead of the Service lifeor Service life remainingdepreciation methods. The depreciation methods that are applied in Poland are:

Click General ledger> Setup> Parametersto open the General ledger parametersform.

On the Fixed assetstab, in the Depreciation percent levelfield, select one of the following parameters:

Profile (standard)- To calculate depreciation based on the Depreciation profilesform ( General ledger> Setup> Fixed assets> Depreciation profiles).

Fixed asset evidence model- To calculate depreciation based on the Value modelsform ( General ledger> Setup> Fixed assets> Value models).

Press CTRL+S or close the form.

Click General ledger> Setup> Fixed assets> Depreciation profilesto open the Depreciation profilesform.

In the Methodfield, select a depreciation method for the profile.

Enter the required details.
