This menu item is available only when the Scrolling Window Layout window is open. It sets the minimum space each record will use when the scrolling window is displayed in normal mode. This area is known as the small line item.

This item allows you to link a field to its text prompt. When a field is linked to its prompt, the prompt will be dimmed when the field is disabled. In addition, if the field's Required property is set to true, choosing Show Required Fields from the Help menu will display the linked text with the font color and style as specified in the User Preferences window.
