Quotation templates are created exactly like sales quotations, except that only the quotation lines are used in the template.

Create a new sales quotation template

  1. Click > .

  2. Press CTRL+N to add a new line.

  3. In the form, select a .

Note Note

Because this template is sent out to several business accounts based on different criteria than the criteria in this form, it is not important which business account you select.


  1. Click OKto submit the quotation template.

  2. On the tab on the quotation header, select .

  3. In the field, type the name of the template you are creating. If you plan to use the template immediately, mark the check box.

  4. On the tab, press CTRL+N to create an item line for the quotation template.

  5. Select or type an item number, quantity, unit, and unit price. You might want to list a different unit price for this template.

  6. Repeat this process for each item line that is required for the quotation template.

Note Note

You have to fill in the field group before you add lines to the template. You cannot change a quotation to a template after you have added lines to it. This is to prevent the template from being included in master scheduling or statistics as a quotation.


Modify a sales quotation template

You can modify an existing quotation template at any time after it has been created by editing the information that is registered on the selected quotation template lines.
