A quotation template is not a quotation and cannot be sent to the customer or transferred to a sales order. It is a collection of quotation lines that are common to one type of quotation. A quotation template is created, edited, and deleted exactly like a real quotation. The best way to distinguish between your templates and your real quotations is to use the filter in the Showfield on the Sales quotationform.
