The process for mapping skills depends on whether you want to use skill profiles in your search.
Run skill mapping without using skill profiles

Click > > .
Select the check boxes under to indicate the types of people you want to include in the search (Employee, Contact persons, or Applicants).

Click to further define the search criteria.

Click OKtwice. When results are returned, click:

to see the résumé of each person found.

to begin a new skill mapping.

Map skills using skill profiles

Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

In the field, enter a unique identifier.

In the field, enter the date on which the search was performed.

On the tab, you can select the , , and check boxes to limit your search. You can select more than one. If you do not make a selection, the search includes all people in the network.

Next, define the profile you want to use by clicking:

to define criteria related to , , , or .
You can also choose to define these criteria directly from this form.

, and in the submenu you can choose , , , or select to retrieve an existing profile.
After you retrieve the profile, click again to modify , , , or information.

Click to start skill mapping.

When the process has finished, click , and choose whether to view the information in a table, report, or graphics format.
