Use the form to create a ledger account, which is an account in the general ledger that records financial transactions, balances, or totals that pertain to assets, liabilities, revenues, expenses, and owner equity. For more information about accounts, see Chart of accounts (form).

  1. Click > Common Forms> .

  2. Press CTRL+N to create a new line.

  3. Enter an account number in the field.

  4. Change the value in the field as appropriate. The field will have a default value of unless you have defined automatic selection of account type by prefix in the form.

  5. You can enter or select an account category, if the account type is , , , , , or .

  6. You can enter additional information in the other fields. For more information, see Chart of accounts (form).
