If multiple companies within your organization do business with the same customer and each company maintains a separate customer account for that customer, use this procedure to merge the global address book IDs for the customer accounts across multiple companies. This enables you to perform cross-company actions that are related to the customer, such as printing consolidated statements or receiving customer payments for invoices in any of the companies with which the customer does business.

Select the address book records that represent the customer in each company that you want to include in the mapping.

Click > .

Select the address book ID to use for the merged address book record, and select the address book records to take the communication history and primary address from.

Click to identify potential conflicts.

Click OKto merge the records.

Select the merged address book record that you selected the address book ID for in step 4 and click the tab. The customer account from each company should be displayed.
