You can register one or more absences for all employees assigned to an absence setup for which you are the person in charge.

  1. Click > > > .

  2. In the upper portion of the form, select the employee for whom you want to register absences.

  3. In the lower portion of the form, create a line for each absence date. To do so, you can:

    • Press CTRL+N to create a new line for each absence date.

      - or -

    • If you are registering an extended period, click to open the dialog box where you can enter a date range.

  4. On the tab, under , enter the date of the absence.

  5. Select the appropriate code in the field.

  6. If the employee registers absence in terms of hours, as defined on their absence setup, enter the number of hours in the field.

  7. Click to send the absence record for approval.

    The record is transferred to the form where the assigned approver can approve or reject the registration.
