Use this form to view the various historical totals for the current invoice. You cannot edit the information on this form.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

General tab

View information about invoice volume and value totals, such as total quantity, total line discount, total cost value and total tax.

View invoice information for the current invoice.

Fields

Field

Description

Displays the total number of product units in the current invoice. For invoices without item numbers, you can enter the quantity manually before updating. For invoices with item numbers, this field is filled in automatically with the total number of inventory units in the invoice.

Displays the total volume of items in the current invoice. For invoices without item numbers, fill in the field manually before updating. For an invoice with item numbers, this field is filled in automatically with the total volume of inventory units in the invoice. The system uses base data for the items in to calculate the field value.

Displays the total weight of the items in the current invoice. For invoices without item numbers, fill in the field manually before updating. For invoice with item numbers, this field is filled in automatically with the total weight of the inventory units in the invoice. The system calculates the field values using the base data for the items in .

Shows you the currency for the invoice.

Displays the total line discount for invoice lines. The field is not used for free text invoices.

Displays the total for invoice lines, excluding total discounts, sales tax, and .

If an invoice discount has been registered, the discount amount is shown in this field.

Displays the sum of on the invoice, including postage, freight, and other charges. When invoicing, use Misc. charges transactions (form)to specify/edit on the invoice. Automatic can be defined either for all invoices or only those invoices that relate to specific customers or items. Create and manage from Misc. charges code (form).

Total tax deducted.

Displays the total invoice amount, including any discount, misc. charges, sales tax, and rounding.

The calculated cash discount that is granted if the customer pays the invoice before the due date of the cash discount. The cash discount is specified for the customer in the Customer table. It is displayed in on the invoice. If you change the terms before updating the invoice, the amount of the cash discount is changed automatically.

The last payment date on which the customer can receive a cash discount. The system calculates the date from the cash discount terms, as defined in Cash discounts (form). The cash discount terms also appear in on the invoice. If you change the terms before updating the invoice, the cash discount amount is changed automatically.

The system automatically generates the invoice number when updating the invoice. Define the invoice number series in Number sequences (form)

Displays the invoice date, which is also used as the posting date. This date is also used to calculate the due date and the cash discount date. You can change the invoice date manually before updating.

Due date of the invoice amount calculated on basis of the payment term specified for the invoiced order.

The payment terms appear in the Customer table and in on the invoice. If you change terms of payment before invoicing, the due date is changed automatically.

The due date is used to calculate the balance allocation for the customer, print lists of due invoices, calculate interest, and create collection letters.


The ledger voucher number is generated automatically when the invoice is updated. You define the voucher series in Number sequences (form).

Displays the customer's account number.

For a list of all customer accounts, click the square arrow.

Press CTRL+F4 to go to the Customers (form). When you have entered the account number, all corresponding base data is retrieved. If you entered a in Customers (form), you must specify the address to be used for the invoice. Select either the customer's address or the address associated with the . All other base data are the same as in the customer account.

Is the invoice for a one-time customer?

Customer group on the invoice During invoicing, a suggested value is taken from Customer Table. You can change this value before updating.
