Use this form to view all existing versions of the selected route. You can create new routes, approve existing routes, make route versions active, and define their valid dates.

Create a new route. You can also copy and use an existing route as the starting point for creating the new route.

Open the form, with which you can approve route versions and their underlying routes.

Select a route version check box to specify the active route in the bill of material (BOM) designer.

Clear the route version check box. The route version check box must be cleared in order to select another route version in the BOM designer.

Route number for the route version. System-generated route numbers appear when route versions are created.

Descriptive name for the route version. It is specified when creating route versions, and can be edited as needed.

Date from which the route version is valid; used in the management of multiple route versions.

Last date for which the route version is valid.

Enter the minimum quantity that is valid for this route version. When generating orders, Microsoft Dynamics AX automatically selects a route version, which is based on this route version and other criteria that you specify. If you leave the field blank, this route version is valid for all quantities. Note that route scrap is not considered when a route version is selected.

If selected, the current route version is active.

Person who approved the current route version. To access the dialog box, click

If selected, the current route version is approved. A route version must be approved before being activated and used.
