Use this form to create and manage dimension focuses that contain a dimension type or dimension type combinations. The ledger account is included and can be combined with dimension types or stand alone in a focus definition.

This form contains dimension focuses and dimension sets created in the form. These are identified by the selected check box and, except for the field, cannot be deleted or modified. A dimension focus that is used in a row definition is also locked for deletion and editing.

The order in which dimension focuses are considered in reporting effects how transactions are sorted and fields are presented.

For example, the set and indicates that the dimension type is first and second. Therefore, the considered focus is the composite of and . amounts are presented first and amounts are presented second.

The focuses defined can be used alone or in pairs when inquiring or reporting on financial transactions; select a main and secondary focus to be considered when presenting the results. The secondary focus details the figures of the main focus. The selection of a secondary focus is limited to focuses that do not share a dimension type with a main focus; therefore, if the main focus is the composite of and , you can only select and/or as the secondary focus.
