Use this form to create course types. Course types refer to courses offered by the company or taken by employees. Course types are used to divide courses according to their type, structure, or content. This form also enables you to print reports according to each type.

Examples of course types include courses in personal development, management training, a foreign language, and programming.

Note Note

You cannot delete a course type that is attached to a course.

Identify the course type.

Enter a description of the course type.

Associate the course type with a course group.

Specify the minimum number of registered participants that are required before the course will be held.

Enter the number of days during which the course will be held.

Note Note

When you assign a course type to a course, the course will inherit this value.


Select this check box if courses belonging to this course type should be accessible from the Enterprise Portal.

Specify a department associated with the course type.

Specify a cost center associated with the course type.

Specify a purpose associated with the course type.
